Gosh time flies! It's been months since my last blog. I hope you all are having a great summer and staying healthy.
Since the last post exciting things have been happening here at the lodge. Namely, The Bistro at Acorn Hill.
I can't even begin to describe how fantastic the food is. I dearly LOVE the French toast with warm fruit topping for Breakfast. The bread is made from scratch, your choice of white, wheat or cinnamon swirl and sliced over an inch thick. It is absolute perfection! Others have raved about the omelet and the farmhouse quesodilla. The portions are generous.
The aroma of smoked rotisserie chicken fills the air as Chef Luke and Chef Havier prep for the lunch crowd.
It is incredibly juicy and robust with flavor. And have you ever had fried plantains? Wow! What a treat! I didn't know what I had been missing all these years. The food has a peruvian influence. I could just go on and on but I think you should all try it for yourselves.
